Biblical Studies

In July 2022, I was appointed Senior Lecturer in Biblical Studies (Hebrew Bible/OT and Hebrew Language) and HOD of the Biblical Studies department at the Pacific Theological College in Suva Fiji. The PTC Council in Lifou New Caledonia in November 2023, endorsed my promotion to the position of Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible/OT and Hebrew Language at the Pacific Theological College.

Dr. Supongmayang Longkumer is an esteemed educator with over a decade of teaching and supervision experience and has dedicated six years to serving as Academic Dean. He officially joined the Pacific Theological College in July 2023. As a distinguished holder and practitioner of indigenous knowledge from the Ao Community in Nagaland, he brings a rich background as an indigenous hermeneuticist and apocalyptic interpreter. Currently, he holds the position of senior lecturer in New Testament studies.

Theology & Ethics

Faafetai Aiava is a Samoan-born theologian and pastor from the Congregational Christian Church and currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Theology and Ethics Discipline at the Pasifika Communities University in Fiji. His work is shaped by a deep commitment to teaching and learning at the intersection of theology, Pasifika hermeneutics, diaspora studies and the ethical concerns that affect both human and other-than-human life.

Dianne Rayson is Associate Professor of Theology and Ethics and Interim Head of the School of Theology and Ecumenism. She is an ecotheologian and Bonhoeffer scholar, and Secretary of the International Bonhoeffer Society­ – English Language Section. Her PhD in Theology was from The University of Newcastle, Australia. She also holds a Master of Public Health and has had a career in public health, policy, and community development throughout the Pacific and Australia.

Dr Kiki has served fifteen years as a public-school teacher, parish pastor and lecturer in theological and teacher education institutions in Papua New Guinea (PNG). He holds degrees from Martin Luther Seminary, PNG, Wartburg Theological Seminary, USA, and Charles Sturt University, Australia. At PCU, Dr Kiki teaches courses in the areas of Christian education and ministry.

Dr. P. Zubeno Kithan, a Lotha Naga from Nagaland, India, specializes in Pastoral Theology and Care. She taught at Union Biblical Seminary, Pune (2019–2024). During her tenure she held key leadership roles as Head of the Christian Ministry Discipline and Dean of Post-Graduate Studies. In 2024, she joined Pacific Theological College, Fiji, as Senior Lecturer in Practical Ministry.
