In the recent online webinar on “Faith and International Relations,” the Manu Folau (Vice Chancellor) sent a clear message to hundreds of participants of the importance of the Palestinian issue to strengthening and redefining our faith. The ‘narrative of war’ perpetuated by some of our religious beliefs systems will never solve the issue in Palestine, instead it will continue the cycle of violence and perpetuate intergenerational hatred and brutality. There needs to be a ‘narrative of love’ to underpin a new approach to the issue.
