We are delighted to introduce Toloa Vehia Wheeler, a passionate PhD Candidate in Pacific Studies at the Australian National University! Vehia’s research focuses on the critical issues of climate change and indigenous knowledge, particularly how these insights serve as adaptations in her home of Maohi Nui (Tahiti).
She is excited to deepen her understanding of holistic approaches through our course and is eager to learn alongside all of you. With a keen interest in Pacific relationality, Vehia looks forward to engaging with fellow participants and drawing from the wisdom of our Pacific thinkers and mentors.
