Introducing Toloa (participant) Rosarine Pasepa Lagi. Rosarine is a dedicated doctoral student at The Institute of Indigenous Studies (Fiji) and USP Pacific TAFE, as well as Omega Graduate School and the American Centre for Religion and Society Studies.
Her research centres on the critical role of Pasifika philosophies in reclaiming Indigenous knowledge, advocating for a foundational shift in policy-making that prioritises the sustainability of Pasifika communities. With a profound understanding of the impact of colonial legacies on philosophical discourse, Rosarine aims to challenge the dominance of Western values, fostering a renewed consciousness that honours and integrates the rich traditions of Pasifika peoples.
