We are excited to introduce Toloa (participant) Rosario Perez Luzano, who is a dedicated mental health clinical therapist with a strong commitment to culturally and spiritually informed practice. She is affiliated with the Austronesian Indigenous Spiritual Healing Circle (AISHC), where she integrates indigenous perspectives into her therapeutic work.
Rosario’s approach emphasizes the weaving of Western and Pacific ideologies to support the mental, physical, and spiritual healing of Pacific peoples. Her participation in the “Pasifika ‘Whole of Life’ Philosophies for a New Development Consciousness” conference in Pasifika Communities University (PCU) Suva, Fiji, reflects her passion for fostering deeper connections to land and ocean—recognized as the life force of Pacific communities.
Rosario is especially committed to advancing Pacific consciousness and healing, both for herself and those she serves, by integrating holistic and indigenous values into her practice.
